| The Carlsson Family Foundation, established in 1998 by Roger
Carlsson, aims to promote the health and educational welfare
of disadvantaged children and their families.
Committed to this principle the foundation aims:
- to assist
children in poverty with special reference to those in
one parent families
- to promote child and family welfare,
including physical,
emotional and mental well-being
- to foster the intellectual
and personal development of children
- to promote and encourage
a strong sense of responsibility with
an emphasis on co-operation and self-help among families
- to
relate in creative and innovative ways with other charities
and social agencies in the wider field of child poverty
- to raise consciousness by building educational and
communication networks within financial, political and
cultural spheres.
The foundation seeks to adhere to
the highest principles of good practice in the implementation
and development of
the work of the charity. It aims to be inclusive in its outreach
and practices equal opportunities.
